The Year of the Rat

I'm no rat, but 2008 is the year of the rat. It is said that the rat is an opportunist with an eye for a bargain, Rats tend to collect and hoard, but are unwilling to pay too much for anything.

In other words, Rats are cheap ass sunzabitches loaded with money looking for ways to screw over others so that they might gain more for themselves.

So beware of all the rats running around, they will probably have a fairly prosperous year and screw you over if you're not one of their buddies.

You know they're pissed...

Anyone who lives in the Pacific Northwest knows that there has been lots of storms coming through here. Rain/sleet/ice in the city, but in the mountains it's been nonstop snow. The ski resorts should be loving it, right? Nope. Actually I'm sure they are really pissed off. Record snowfalls should make skiers happy too, but I'm sure they are sitting around just as bummed. Why? Because I-90 has been shut down all week long because of avalanches. Just think about all the revenue they are missing out on... it would piss me off too. Though, I can certainly understand the safety reasons.

By the way, the morning sickness was awful this week.

A little late... but better late than never.

Happy New Year! Hope you all in the internet world have a great 2008!

Things have been great here. Got a raise at work - long overdue I should add, but received. I suppose all my hard work and willingness to bail management out of trouble a few times finally paid off.

Josh moved up in seniority with his job and is getting better work; which of coarse means more money!

The girls got a Playhut Magic Ballzone for Christmas. IF you have no idea what that is, look here:

The living room is littered with balls. And "Grandma" is going to buy some additions to it.

2008 has started off good for us. Hope the same for you!
